Just finished Season 1 of The Pitt, a multi-character hospital drama starring Noah Wylie and a slew of other actors new to me and my wife. It's very much in the vein of E.R., which Wylie was also in and I read was unsuccessful in trying to revive the E.R. show name for this series. Like many multi-episode series for me, the first episode didn't grab me so well and had me raising my eyebrows at times, with it cramming the intros for the characters and having a wild pace. But, again, past that it settles into some very interesting characters swirling around fast-paced crises.
Just this past weekend I spent some time with a resident ER doctor who has also watched the show and he validates that, while the show compresses the processes and performs procedures normally not done in an E.R., the show is quite realistic to him.
Very entertaining. Watch it on HBO Max.
