British police procedural about a smart and smart-ass detective played by the always fine Matthew Goode who was shot during an investigation and comes back after recovery to head a new cold case team. Plenty of violence, tension and mystery as he investigates a cold (or is it cold?) disappearance of a tough prosecutor. Plus, one of the main "characters" is a diver's hyperbaric chamber which triggered memories for me ("Hey, that's a compression/decompression chamber! What the hell?") He leads a small team of misfits with the fantastic Alexej Manvelov as Akram Salim, a Syrian refuge with an unclear past who possesses some serious military-level skills. Very engaging short series on Netflix, and they left it set up for a second season which we hope gets produced. Highly recommended.
